Musawo Tsumugi’s “Koi to Uso” (Love and Lies) will go on hiatus for the next few months to prepare the future story development. Wakame Konbu’s slice-of-life comedy manga The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated (Jahī-Sama wa Kujikenai!) is going to be adapted for an anime series, the mangaka announced via the project’s newly-opened official Twitter account on April 16, Friday. An official website for anime has also opened. It is scheduled to air in July 2021.
The manga was ranked 16th in the 2020 edition of the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! and ranked 3rd in the survey of “Zenkoku Shotenin ga Eranda Osusume Comic 2020” (Nationwide Bookstore Employees’ Recommended Comics of 2020) where they asked 1,100 professional bookstore employees in Japan for the top 15 manga series for 2020.
