“Zombie Land Saga” spin-off manga series “Zombie Land Saga Gaiden – The First Zombie” by Fukagawa Kasumi will start in Ultra Jump issue on May 19, 2021. For those who do not know Fukagawa provided the character designs for the anime series.
Story and Publication
Directed by Munehisa Sakai and written by Shigeru Murakoshi, Zombieland Saga is an original musical idol comedy-horror anime, animated and produced by studio MAPPA(Jujutsu Kaisen, AOT 4th Season) in collaboration with Avex Pictures, and Cygames.
In 2019, the series won the Tokyo Anime Awards Festival award for Animation of the Year.
As for the manga, The Zombie Land Saga Manga adaptation was in publication during the anime’s broadcast until March 2020, it was adapted by Megumu Soramichi on October 8, 2018.
