The official Twitter account for the anime of Nanashi‘s Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro (Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san) manga confirmed for the series’s second season on Saturday. According to them, this was announced at the late-night special event of the manga which was held at Kanagawa Kannai Hall on October 23rd where Sumire Uesaka, Daiki Yamashita, Mikako Komatsu, Aina Suzuki, Shiori Izawa, and other voice actors and staff of the series participated. While much about the production broadcast details are still under wrap, character designer Misaki Suzuki revealed a new teaser visual to celebrate the news.
The first season debuted in Japan on April 11, 2021, and outside of Japan Crunchyroll licensed the series both in sub and dub.
Hirokazu Hanai (Air Gear) directed the first season at Telecom Animation Film. Taku Kishimoto (ERASED, Moriarty the Patriot, Magi: Adventure of Sinbad, Fruits Basket, Haikyuu!!) handled the series composition. Misaki Suzuki designed the characters, Gin ( Aho-Girl, Gal & Dino, Why the Hell are You Here, Teacher!?) composed the music and Sumire Uesaka performed the opening theme song EASY LOVE.
Nanashi launched the manga in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket on November 1, 2017. And as of August 2021, the cumulative circulation of the series has surpassed 1.8 million.
