While much about the series is still under wrap but it has been revealed it will be about the daily lives of an unemployed man around 30 & his female cousin.

Musawo Tsumugi’s “Koi to Uso” (Love and Lies) will go on hiatus for the next few months to prepare the future story development. The series will from now on be branched in two different routes with two endings to ensure the highest readability for the readers, differing from the traditional manga light novel endings.
According to the author, this was already decided on 5 years ago.

Wakame Konbu’s The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated is scheduled to air in July 2021
Wakame Konbu’s slice-of-life comedy manga The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated (Jahī-Sama wa Kujikenai!) is going to be adapted for an anime series, the mangaka announced via the project’s newly-opened official Twitter account on April 16, Friday. An official website for anime has also opened. It is scheduled to air in July 2021.
