Minori Inaba, the author of Minamoto-kun Monogatari, will launch a new manga series titled Batsu Harem in the upcoming Weekly Young Jump issue 15/2022, which will be released on March 10. While much about the series is still undisclosed, it has been revealed to certain sources that the plot will revolve around ecchi, romance anime manga theme once again.
Minori Inaba has been making waves in the Japanese seinen harem romance drama without much of a notice from the rest of the world. She is a popular name among niche seinen harem romance drama readers particularly known for her beautiful cute arts, excellent sense of fashion and unique seinen harem romance writing style. Her manga have been translated into multiple languages, including English, German, French to users all over the world. She is a prominent author excelling in exquisite emotion and the enjoyable story that brings out the readers’ heart.
At the 27th MANGA Grand Prix in 2003, her “Ao no Kisetsu” received the Shorei Sho Award. At the 33rd MANGA Grand Prix in 2004, she also received a Shorei Sho Award for “Hasumukai,” and at the 35th MANGA Grand Prix, she again received another Shorei Sho Award for “LINK.” “Minamoto-kun Monogatari” was serialised in the 42nd issue of “Weekly Young Jump” in 2011, after several one-shot publications.
The story of Minamoto-kun Monogatari iis about a guy named Minamoto. He has a face pretty enough to make people think he’s a girl. Because of his face, he was bullied by the girls in middle school who were jealous of his face. He developed a fear of women due to the trauma and he ended up attending a high school for boys. Just as he enters college and makes a promise to himself to overcome the trauma of his past, his father remarries and asks him to move out of the house.
His father arranges for him to live with his aunt (Minamoto-kun’s father’s younger sister) for the time being. She is an extremely beautiful woman who is also a non-tenured professor at his college.
