To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the light novel the fourth season of Date A Live Anime will premiere in October 2021 with new studio and staff, Kadokawa Light Novel Expo 2020 event announced on Sunday.

About the series
Written by Koshi Tachibana and illustrated by Tsunako, Date a Live is a Science fiction romantic harem comedy that tells the story of a seemingly ordinary high school boy named Shido Itsuka who suddenly comes across a mysterious girl one day in massive spatial quakes whom he has to stop from unleashing hell on the world by taking her out on a date and making her fall in love with him.
By October 2015, the series as a whole had sold over four million copies.
