Adventure, fantasy, and Shōsetsuka ni Narō – perhaps some people will find this series hard to stick around. However, once you get past the first couple of chapters or episodes you will come to like it even more. It’s a little slow-paced, but the atmosphere of the world view, as well as the theme and protagonists trying to move forward, has something of a unique and mature feel to it compared to the other Shōsetsuka Isekai fantasy series out there.
If you like fantasy, do give it a shot, but before you go here are some amazing quotes from the series. Enjoy!
1. William G. Maryblood
“Words are the things that determine and define the world as what it is.” – William
“I don’t… don’t want to kill.” – William
“After living in such a hopelessly vague manner… I had thought that waking up in the world was my punishment for not being filial and retribution for looking down on life. However, this is by no means a Punishment. This is Forgiveness. The thing that I had carelessly thrown away was granted back to me by someone.” – William
“I will live again. This time for sure, in this world. I swear it. “ – William
“Not Thinking isn’t the same as being free from thoughts. To truly be free of thoughts is to focus on the now intensely.” – William
“Think not of your future or your past, just your current self. Think about the now and focus, then throw out your very identity” – William
“Living and Alive are two very different things” – William
“If I choose to live properly… Then I should die properly too.” – William
“I hereby dedicate my whole life to you! I will drive away evil as if I am your blade. And bring salvation to the sorrowful and to the lost, as if I am your very hand.” – William
2.Blood
“You are still 100 years too early to aim for an opening on me, Oraaa!” – Blood
“There are countless situations where techniques won’t keep you alive. But in almost all of the cases ‘Having a lot of Strength’ is helpful.” – Blood
“Techniques require you to choose the situation. Even with weapon techniques, you won’t always be guaranteed your weapon of choice. But if you continuously train your muscles, they will never leave your body.” – Blood
“If you have the capability to withstand violence that having strong and trained muscle brings you, then you can settle most things.” – Blood
3.Augustus
“The ability to earn money and use it is about as important as magic” – Augustus
“The Sky will be created if the earth is created. If Good exists so too will evil.” – Augustus
“You mustn’t use those words so carefully. There is a danger that accompanies each use.” – Augustus
“You want to know as much as possible about your opponent ahead of time. An unknown enemy is the most terrifying enemy.” – Augustus
4.Mary
