First Look at Every Japan Arrival

Our rarest Kutani pieces, limited Kokeshi editions, and collector artifacts arrive in single quantities. Most never reach the public listing. WhatsApp subscribers see every new piece the moment it arrives from Japan.

EVERY ARTIFACT

Authenticated at Origin.

Japan’s traditional craft regions — Kutani in Ishikawa, Kokeshi villages in Tohoku, Urushi lacquer workshops in Wajima — produce objects in strictly limited quantities using techniques passed through generations. The global market for Japanese-style artifacts is flooded with factory reproductions that mimic these forms without the craft. The difference is visible in the glaze, the weight, the irregularity of handwork, and the provenance of origin. Every piece in the IAN collection comes from the real craft tradition — not its imitation.
