Hajime Inoryu will start a new manga series titled “Furitsumore kodoku na shi yo” in the upcoming Magazine Pocket app issue

A new manga series by the creators of Shinai naru boku e satsui o komete, Shota Ito & Hajime Inoryu titled “Furitsumore kodoku na shi yo” will start in the upcoming Magazine Pocket app issue on August 28, 2021. While much about the series is still under wrap but it has been revealed that it will be again a new manga with psychological thriller elements featuring cops as the main cast.

About The Author

Born in Saitama Prefecture, Hajime Inoryu has become a well-known manga artist in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine last few years. He made his debut in the industry with “Kikiko Kerinji” (Illustration by Junsei Chida) in 2010 which has been serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine up to November 2011 issue.

His major work includes “Shinai naru boku e satsui o komete” which has surpassed 1 million copies in circulation last month. He is also known for works like Summer Salt Turn, “LOL” and more.

Shinai naru Boku e Satsui wo Komete has been published by Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine from the 23rd issue of 2018 to the 36/37 merger issue of 2019 and later by Comic DAYS from August 5, 2019, to September 7, 2020. In English Kodansha Comics USA has started distributing the manga digitally as My Dearest Self With Malice Aforethought since February 2, 2021and they describe the manga:

“Eiji the college-age virgin dreams of someday having a girlfriend…until he wakes up one day with his “girlfriend” in his bed with him! Not only that, his buddy tells him he got in a fight…and that three days have passed that Eiji doesn’t remember? What dark secrets are being hidden…by Eiji himself?”
